September couldn’t have been a better month for our 2023 Bowl Pick Out and Picnic event on Saturday the 23rd, as it coincides with Hunger Action Month.
Feeding America started Hunger Action Month in 2008, “where we come together to raise awareness about hunger in America and inspire action.”
Empty Bowls Attleboro Area and its team of local potters and friends have created and glazed bowls for this annual event that supports local organizations. Each Empty Bowl purchased is a reminder of the empty bowls that need to be filled by those local organizations as they fight food insecurity in the Attleboro Area.
We encourage you to buy a ticket for a bowl and make a donation. At the 2023 event you can also buy other bowls and raffle tickets, all proceeds go to area organizations fighting hunger locally.
