Help fight hunger through art

We are very pleased to tell you about the Empty Bowls Attleboro Area. This project was founded in 2019 and is committed to fighting hunger locally. Last year in 2020 our event was held outdoors during the pandemic and received an enormous community response. Thanks to our many generous supporters in 2020 Empty Bowls Attleboro Area was able to distribute over $90,000 to aid local food programs that provided over 50,000 meals to those in need.

Key challenges in addressing hunger in 2021 are increasing food and packaging prices, food distribution, especially to children and the elderly, volunteer and donor fatigue due to the pandemic, and of course the need for licensed food prep locations.

Dollars raised by Empty Bowls Attleboro Area are vital in helping to overcome these obstacles. We hope you consider joining in this project to combat hunger.

We are planning a BOWL PICK-UP AND PICNIC DAY at Capron Park on Saturday, September 25.

We look forward to contributing to our local area organizations whose work directly aids those who are experiencing food insecurity.

You can help this exciting project by buying a bowl, picking it up on September 25, and have some soup to-go by Morin’s Hometown Bar & Grill and Russell Morin Catering and Events, and a coupon for an ice cream cone from Bliss Bros. Dairy.
